I recently got my kitten from SlowBlink and the whole process was amazing. We had a meet and greet video call and they answered all my questions. I then entered in the queue for a new kitten after signing the contract and paying the queue fee which is less than 10% of the total amount. When the set date arrived they properly communicated through text messages and email. Meanwhile I was being updated with pictures of my kitten. In the day the only thing I had to worry was the payment and only after I had my kitten on hand. They gave me toys, the current food the kitten was in, a carrier for the kitten, a personalized bag and even a book about a Maine Coon care. And now I’m a happy owner of a beautiful void! Super helpful and incredibly educated about Maine Coons Mia and James are wonderful people who are dedicated to these beautiful cats. I still keep in touch about any small things. I would highly recommend SlowBlink Maine Coons. I had been searching for reputable cat breeders for some time, and I was very impressed with their knowledge, awards, and communication. I really appreciated the weekly update photos I received of my cat before they arrived. This gesture not only helped give me a better idea of the cat I was receiving, but was something fun to look forward to in the week. The kitten was already well socialized upon his arrival, and the care package they gave me for him was a thoughtful and useful surprise. I couldn't recommend them enough! Honestly the best pet adoption service I've ever experienced. My partner and I already had a domestic cat and a husky. We decided to inquire about a maine coon considering we'd both loved the idea of having one as a pet for years. Slow Blink was extremely professional. We almost got scammed prior with a fake adoption service and the Slow Blink breeders were extremely thorough and helped give us back the confidence to adopt safely, free of risk. We decided to take two kittens from the same litter, one male, one female. It's been three days now that they've been ours and quickly became part of the family. They came litter trained, so there have been no accidents. They're absolutely beautiful, loving, healthy little children and we're extremely appreciative that we were able to make this goal of ours come to for wishing. I have nothing but exceedingly positive things to say about getting a Maine Coon from Mia & James of SlowBlink Maine Coons ❤️ From our initial contact up to receiving our sweet lil high smoke girl... it was such a smooth process that left us confident and happy with our choice. We first stumbled upon SlowBlink when searching for breeders in the BC area. Their website is easy to navigate, full of information and it was a bonus to find out that they used the same vet as ours. I sent an email out to Mia & James and was impressed to get a response within a couple of hours. Getting a Maine Coon (or any purebred pet) is such an investment so I had a million questions and they were all answered in a professional and friendly manner! You can definitely tell that they take pride in their cattery. When picking a kitten, we had initially planned to get one much later but changed our minds when we noticed that our current cat was feeling lonely. This sudden change in timeline did not phase SlowBlink and we were able to pick a kitten pretty quickly (lucky timing!!). Mia & James were very thorough in breaking down the different costs with regards to gender/polydactyl status/coloring and all the paperwork provided was detailed & clear. Once all of that was settled, it was a matter of waiting for our kitten to join our home. We were provided weekly updates of pictures/videos which made the wait a little easier. It was a quick and easy drop off and she came home with a goody bag full of food, treats, toys, her health passport, a book written by SlowBlink, a scented blanket & a scratcher (which she absolutely loves) -- wow! What a welcome package. It's been just over a week with our kitten and we are absolutely smitten! It's amazing how quickly she's taken to getting comfortable in a new space (with another cat and a toddler!). She is also completely unphased by noises such as the vacuum and the doorbell and is a super snuggly sweetheart -- just another sign that SlowBlink put so much love & care into making such well-adjusted cats.
