Dr. Saman Moaveni

Dr. Moaveni has always loved animals and a great interest in medicine. He grew up with a family that had dogs, fish, rabbits, and a turtle. In 1997, Dr. Moaveni graduated with his DVM (Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine) the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at Tabriz University, East Azerbaijan, Iran. Between 1997 and 2007, Dr. Moaveni worked at various small and large animal clinics. In 2007 Dr. Moaveni wrote and passed the National Board Exams entitling him to practice veterinary medicine in Canada. In 2008, Dr. Moaveni joined Burnaby New Westminster Animal Hospital. Dr. Moaveni is a believer in continuous learning and continuing education, so he is always learning newer and better ways to help animals.
